I was in love with the table setup and the backdrop, Shaheen did an amazing job, she did more than I expected. She is so friendly. The Venus is very nice, the food was excellent everyone liked it also the management they were flexible and easy to communicate. Thank you to all of them for making my day so special and beautiful.

Had my wedding party at this hall and it was amazing. Best day of my life because I’m marrying my best friend, but also the banquet hall and their service helped a lot with the event. They are one of the most accommodating banquet owners I’ve dealt with during my research for a place for my wedding. The day went exactly as planned, food served warm and with specific accommodations to guests. The dessert table was more than what we had in mind. It was actually a hot topic after the party! Overall great experience with Candles Banquet Hall!

Both Shaheen and Mohammed went over and beyond to accommodate us and made a very stressful experience, much more seamless. The decor was absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Mo was amazing on keeping up with requests, menus, and just general client services. We loved their continental buffet and the apps were delicious. We had our wedding at Candles last month and it was spectacular! Shaz and the fam are so great at making sure your day exceeds your expectations and they really put some true effort into making that happen! They were so flexible and worked with us and accommodated our requests, communication throughout was so great! Shaheen did most of our decor and she is so amazing at what she does. She worked with us and helped us choose decor that would look the best with our vision. The hall looked even better than we expected, it was breathtaking! The recent renovations are beautiful, the hall is beyond gorgeous!! The staff at Candles are so great, so friendly! The bartenders and waiting staff were amazing!! There was never a lineup at the bar, and food came out in a timely manner. Big props to the chefs in the kitchen too, wow! All the food was so delicious and tasted exactly the same as at our tasting! We had a Portuguese seafood midnight table too and it was spot on! Best mussels I’ve ever had! It was a hit and even approved by the Portuguese elders! This is a family run business and you can really tell how much they all care about making sure every event held at their hall is phenomenal and their clients are happy. Well we are beyond happy and cannot thank you guys enough for making our wedding day one of the best days ever! We are still getting compliments about it from our guests! A true hidden gem!!

We had our barat event at Candles Banquet last weekend, and everything was beyond our expectations. The staff of this venue is always so helpful and accommodating, they didn’t hesitate to provide anything extra we asked for. The décor, amazing food and overall management was superb. Also, this was not our first time, we have had more events in the past and will always go back to them for future events. Highly recommend this banquet hall to everyone for all their small and big fancy events. Shez, Shehryar and Shaheen- all three an amazing team together!

I hosted a small wedding reception there on Saturday Nov 30 and I am so happy we chose Candles. The place is beautiful just the way it is. We had picked a buffet menu with jerk chicken and beef as the main dishes and they were amazing. People were complimenting us all evening about how great the food was. We threw an awesome party and owe it all to Candles. We hope to have more events there in the future. We did use the smaller room for the event and it would have been helpful to have signage indicating there were two parties. We had forgotten our sign but just a note for others to consider.

I had 2 events at Candles. Shaz really took care of us. If i could i would give these guys 7 stars. They helped us get our audio stuff sorted, helped with our back drop people and helped with the decor. Most Importantly THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. I still have my friends who attended the wedding ask me where we got the food catered from and i tell em it was the Candles chefs. The Hall is beautiful and the family that runs this Hall is even more amazing. BEST PLACE IN GTA and economical as well. Shaz is the best!!!!
