With the wedding day fast approaching and most of the big details finalized—including the perfect banquet hall—it’s time to focus on the final touches. One of the last steps in the celebration is planning a memorable bridal shower. A well-planned shower is a great way for the bride to relax and enjoy time with loved ones before the big day. To make the event even more special, incorporating fun and engaging games is a perfect way to break the ice and encourage mingling. You should choose the ones that fit your party’s theme and bride’s personality.

Here are the top bridal shower games:

1. Toilet Paper Gown

Divide your guests into even teams of 3 or 4 and give each group a roll of toilet paper. Each team must choose a member to be the model and the rest of the group constructs a wedding dress using toilet paper. Give each team approximately 15 minutes to decorate their model and have each team put on a fashion show for the bride to choose the winning design.

2. Bride and Groom Trivia

Gather a list of ridiculous or interesting information about the bridge and groom. For example, who said I love you first, how did the groom propose, where did the bride and groom meet, how many kids does the couple want to have, and what does the bride love most about the groom. Compile the information into a multiple choice and hand out the quiz to each guest or sit your guests in a circle and the hosts asks a question to the group.

5 Tips for Booking a Banquet Hall

Regardless if you’re planning a wedding, birthday, or a business networking event, finding the perfect banquet hall can be a tough and stressful job. After all, you want to ensure that your event is successful.

So how do you find the perfect banquet hall for your event? What are the 5 tips for booking a banquet hall?

Here are the 5 tips for booking a banquet hall:

1. Location

When it comes to booking a banquet hall, you need to consider the venue’s location. You’ll find venues available at a great price, however its located on the outskirts of town. So you should also think about your guest. Don’t choose a banquet hall that might discourage your guest from attending your event.

How easy is it to get to the venue? Is the venue tricky to find? Is there public transit nearby? Is the venue near or connected to a hotel? How much parking does the venue have?

2. Capacity

The overall capacity of your venue is one of the important things to consider. The size of your venue can have a positive impact on the success of your event. Just imagine this, if you choose a venue that’s too small, your guest will feel cramped and uncomfortable. So you should know your guest list before looking at venues to save you from the stress and headache. From there, you can choose the best venue that suits the size of your event.

3. Amenities

Most of the venues you’ll find will provide the basic facilities, which include tables, chair, and basic decorations. However, you should check to see if the venue can provide other amenities such as on site catering, and audio and visual equipment. In addition, does the venue offer a lot of parking? Are the washrooms clean and handicap accessible?

4. Interiors

It’s important to keep in mind that the banquet hall you choose will leave an impression on your guests. So you should check if the interiors of the banquet hall is clean, modern, and well maintained.

5. Costs

The last thing you need to consider is the costs. Your budget is more important than how much a banquet hall will cost. You need to find a balance between the price and what the banquet hall has to offer. When booking a banquet hall, you need to remember your budget.

How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Venue

How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Venue

A lot of aspect of a wedding is optional. You can ditch the flowers or forgo the wedding cake, but you can’t skip a perfect wedding venue. Finding the perfect wedding venue isn’t easy. You have so many options to choose from such as a cozy restaurant, an elegant banquet hall, or a quiet stretch of beach. Choosing the perfect wedding venue is probably the most important decision you’ll make about your wedding.

Here’s how to choose the perfect wedding venue:

1. Talk to a wedding planner

You should talk to a wedding planner before you start looking at spaces. Wedding planners are familiar with the capabilities of a venue, layout, time, and items you’ll need to transform it for your wedding. Planners will find unique and creative ways to make your vision come to life.

2. Choose a wedding venue that aligns with your vision

It’s important to choose a wedding venue that aligns with your vision. For example, if you’re planning a modern wedding, you should look at well-designed restaurant spaces. Choosing a wedding venue that fits the aesthetic you have in mind will enable your wedding to feel more connected to the space.

Therefore, it’s important not to underestimate how many people you’re going to invite because it will also help you break down your budget.

4. Remember your budget

Remembering your budget is important because it’s more than just how much renting the space will cost. Venues with in-house catering will charge a price-per-plate and your decor and floral designs will also increase your costs.

5. Consider your guests’ experience

If you’re expect a lot of guests out of town, especially if you’re having a destination wedding, you should look for a wedding venue that’s near or connected to a hotel. You also need to consider how easy it is to get to your wedding venue, is there public transit nearby, and how much parking does the venue have.
